New Journal Musings
Aug. 11th, 2000 02:15 amI think the main reason I wish to keep this journal is so when I am old and senile I will have a way to remember. To begin with, I shall start with a brief description of myself and my circumstances.
I just turned 22 and I'm a witch. No, my parents are not happy about this choice, but they are slowly adjusting to the fact. My very best friend is Melissa. She was just married to Frank on July 31. I myself am engaged to Robert, to be wed on Oct. 31. He is currently stationed Heidelberg, Germany. He's an E-4 in the military. I live in Texas, near the military base, with Melissa and her husband.
I work for Convergys, or to put it bluntly, I do AT&T customer service. Not the greatest job, but I've had worse.
Today I skipped out on the last half of work so we could get insurance on the car. We decided to go with Geiko; $179.00 down payment and $125.00 a month for all 4 of us. It would have been cheaper, but Robert had accidents on his driving record.
Melissa and I had a girls' night out. Frank had guard duty from 6pm - 6am. We went grocery shopping and we went to see the animals at the place she got Inari from. I had a ring-tailed lemur climbing on me and biting me, and I also go to see bush babies. African red-backed squirrels and a sort of miniature fox. They were all so cute! I want one of each. We had a lot of fun today!
